| Day 5, 6, 7, & 8 |
Ruaha National Park Take a short flight to Ruaha, to find a completely contrasting safari environment from the green bush of the Selous. Ruaha is a stunningly wild and remote park characterised by reddish earth and vast ancient baobab trees across wide miles of rolling hills. Here you will spend four nights at Mwagusi Tented lodge, a small and charismatic thatched lodge on the banks of a sand river, where all the wildlife of the bush come to find water. Each day safaris are made in open-sided vehicles or on foot, with excellent guides to show you the magic of this unusual and still largely undiscovered expanse of African bush. Evening meals are laid out under the stars, and a remarkable standard of cooking and service will make your stay in Ruaha truly memorable.
